Rabbi Meir Kahane, z”l - by Paul Eidelberg (The Jewish Press) 11-9-1990

He told the truth, and he died for the truth.  He told the truth about the implacable Arab-Islamic hatred of the Jews and of Israel.  He told the truth about Israel’s government, that this government is the greatest enemy of the Jewish people.  He told the truth about the many Reform and Conservative and Moderdox rabbis who feared the truth and prevented him from appearing and speaking the truth at their temples and synagogues.

It was because he told the truth about the Arabs, who now applaud Saddam Hussein and scream “Itbach al-Yahud” – “Slaughter the Jews” – that he was called a “facist.”  It was because he told the truth about the many rabbis who betrayed Torah Judaism for the baubles of popularity that he was called a “Khomeini.”

He told the truth, and he died for the truth.  He told the truth about the countless Arabs, including Arab citizens of Israel, who keep not one of the Seven Noahide Laws of Universal Morality.  He told the truth about Moslems who blaspheme against the G-d of Israel, who worship blood and glory in bloodshed, who murder and rape and mutilate each other, as well as Jews.

He told the truth about a government that lacks the courage to protect its own people from the stones and firebombs and knives of Arabs.  He told the truth about a government steeped in falsehood, a government that speaks peace, peace with a people that knows only war.  He told the truth about a government that enacted a law making it illegal to tell the truth about that people.  For this reason only was he barred from the Knesset – yea, with the help of a High Court of Injustice that allowed PLO spokesmen to remain in that miscreant assembly.

He told the truth, and was vilified by liars.  He spoke with courage, and was attacked by cowards.  He was barred from universities that welcomed PLO propagandists.  He defended Jews and justice, and was treated as a pariah.  His voice in the Knesset was a voice in the wilderness, but his words reached beyond its walls and enlightened the minds of honest Jews.

He worked tirelessly for Klal Yisrael .  He helped countless Jews in Israel and abroad.  He spoke words of Torah and brought Jewish souls back to Judaism.  His gifted articles – alas, we shall have them no more – illuminated events obscured by official darkness.  He articulated the hopes and sentiments of normal people.  He lifted their hearts, he rallied them to a cause, and he died for that cause.

He suffers no more.  But we who mourn our loss, we who feel the emptiness created by his passing, we who were strengthened by his words, let us keep his faith and carry on the struggle for which he died – the struggle for Truth.
Editor’s note:  Paul Eidelberg (Ph.D. University of Chicago), is a professor of political science at Bar Ilan University and the author of many books.

Obama - Worst POTUS ever?

I thought it a unlikely any POTUS could be worse than Carter. If BHO gains a second term he will instantly become more toxic to Jews than even Carter.

What were American Jews thinking? The usual humanistic PC crap.
How could any sane Jew think Obama is not an Anti-Semite Mooslim?

Taqqiya and Kithman - Mooslim "principles" that clearly show why you
can trust no Mooslim...ever! They follow the Grand Pirates laws and
will do anything to dominate the world.

Is Obama the Manchurian Candidate? Of course he is,  Edward Said & his 20
year "Reverend" ......

Get your passports in order and transfer any weath you can to a friend or relative in Israel.
If Obama stays it could get nasty!

The Full-Blown Return of Anti-Semitism in Europe

On April 19, the Corfu synagogue, in Greece, was burned. How many Jews live in Corfu today? One hundred and fifty. How many Jews live in Greece? Eight thousand, or about 0.8% of the population. For some, it seems these figures are still far too high. Two other synagogues were burned in Greece during the past year. Anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls are spreading all over the country.

What happened in Greece is happening everywhere across the European continent.
During the last decade, synagogues were vandalized or set on fire in Poland, Sweden, Hungary, France. Anti-Semitic inscriptions are being drawn on building walls in Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, London, Berlin and Rome. Jewish cemeteries are being ransacked. Jews are being attacked on the streets of most major cities on the continent. In the Netherlands, the police use  decoy Jews  in order to try arrest the perpetrators red-handed.

Jewish schools are being placed under police protection everywhere, and are usually equipped with security gates. Jewish children in public high schools are bullied; when parents complain, they are encouraged to choose another place of learning for their children.

In some cities such as Malmö, Sweden, or Roubaix, France, the persecution suffered by the Jewish community has reached such a degree that people are selling their homes at any price and leaving. Those who stay have the constant feeling that they are risking their lives: they must be extremely streetwise and carry no sign showing who they are. In 1990, approximately 2000 Jewish people lived in Malmö; now there are fewer than 700, and the number is decreasing every year.

Jews now, in fact, have to be streetwise in all European countries: men wearing a skullcap usually hide it under a hat or a cap. Owners of kosher restaurants located on avenues where protests are organized close their facilities before the arrival of the participants -- even if the protest is about wages or retirement age. They know too well that among the demonstrators, there will always be some who will express their rage at the sight of a Jewish name or a star of David on a store front. In Paris, on Labor Day, May 1st, in front of a Jewish café on Avenue of the Republic, several hundred demonstrators stopped and began to boo « Jews and Zionists ». A man coming out of the café was assaulted until police officers arrived on the scene.

A few weeks ago in Norway, when Alan Dershowitz was banned from giving lectures on the conflict in the Middle East, the professors who supported the ban used anti-Semitic stereotypes in their remarks. What happened to him is now commonplace. In many universities in Europe, giving lectures on Jewish culture has become risky, and giving lectures on Israel anywhere -- without being clearly « pro-Palestinian » - is even more risky, or impossible: Once the event is announced, the organizers and the lecturers immediately receive explicit death threats by mail or by the internet. The day the lecture takes place, « anti-Zionists » organize violent protests, try to prevent people from entering the hall, and physically attack the lecturers. The only way to avoid this type of situation is to organize the lecture by invitation only, without ads.

After World War II, anti-Semitism seemed to disappear in Europe. It is back, to a very disquieting degree.
Although it is not exactly the same anti-Semitism that in the 1930's, it is not fully different.

It is an anti-Semitism that is widespread in the Muslim population that settled in Europe, and it would be easy to think that it is strictly an Islamic phenomenon, but the anti-Semitism as it exists today in the Muslim world was heavily influenced by the old European anti-Semitism. And what the Muslim immigrants bring with them can easily find resonances in European non-Muslim populations. Copies of fraudulent Protocols of the Elders of Zionin Arabic are sold in Islamic bookstores from one end of the continent to the other, and they also circulate abundantly again in many European languages, under the mantle or via internet.
It is also an anti-Semitism that allows the far right to restate its rejection of « cosmopolitanism » -- an adjective on the European continent that has always been used to point out the Jews -- in a context where, because of the European economic decline, nationalist tensions and isolationism sound more and more seductive. It is an anti-Semitism that the left does not want to fight, because for it, the Muslims are oppressed, and the left is always on the side of those it defines as oppressed, whether or not the oppression is caused by the terrible governance inside those countries, or scapegoated onto someone else. European anti-racist movements say they are very concerned about « Islamophobic racism, but they are totally reluctant to discuss the anti-Semitism in the Muslim populations.

The new, current anti-Semitism now adds on to the old kind, the demonization of the State of Israel. The Islamic view of Israel is now the dominant view of Israel in Europe. The idea that Israel is a « colonial power » that has « robbed » people of their land, and is an « artificial State », even though the Jews have been on that land for three thousand years -- and even though many states in the area, such as Jordan and Libya, and Iraq are even more illegitimate, their borders having been drawn on papre by the British in the 1920s -- is a commonplace among journalists.

Hatred towards Israel is now the most widely shared sentiment among Europeans, whatever their place on the political spectrum. It is now through hatred of Israel, that hatred of Jews as annoying « troublemakers » can again express itself.

European Muslim populations hate Israel and seek its destruction. European non-Muslim people seem think that if Israel did not exist, tensions with Muslims would be less, and they attribute to Israel all the responsibility of the tensions, even though , since most of the Jews have fled from countries in the Middle East, it is now the Christian Copts in Egypt and the Christian Assyrians in Iraq who are being attacked by Islamic mobs. As the Arabic saying goes, "First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people."

As Israel is a Jewish state, European Jews are asked to be « good Europeans », and to disavow Israel. If they refuse, or worse, if they say they still support Israel, they are considered untrustworthy.

In the 1930s, Jews were accused of not being full members of the country where they lived. Today, the same criticism rises in a slightly different form: Jews are accused of the existence of a Jewish state, and are suspected of being too tied to that state to be full members of the country where they live.

More deeply, the Jews of Europe might feel that if they can paint the Jews as evil, then perhaps what their parents and grandparents did to them during World War II was not really so bad after all; you could even say they deserved what they got. As some Scandinavians put it, The Jews killed Christ; at least the Muslims did not do that.

The anti-Semitism of the 1930s led to the Holocaust, which led the Jews to flee to Israel, the only country that would take them in and not let shiploads of fleeing Jews sink at sea. Now, European anti-Semitism accuses the Jews of Israel's existence, and of reminding them of the Holocaust by remembering it themselves. Meanwhile, an increasing number of Europeans seem quite ready for another Holocaust: one that would be the annihilation of Israel.

If sacrificing Israel allowed non-Muslim Europeans to see Muslim anger disappear, they would be willing to make the sacrifice immediately. If, in order to accept the sacrifice with a clear conscience, non-Muslim Europeans have to caricature Israel ignobly, they will -- and do. Anti-Israel cartoons fill European newspapers from London to Spain, and even receive awards. The Israeli army is often compared in European media to the Nazi army. The comparison is fully playing its role: if the Jews are Nazis today, it means that the Europeans did the world a favor in killing six million of them, and that the Europeans are not really guilty.
If Israel can be portrayed as a Nazi state, its destruction is acceptable, maybe even legitimate, maybe even desirable. The fact that Mein Kampf is a bestseller in the Palestinian territories and in most countries of the Muslim world is totally left out, just like the fact that many Jews living in Israel are survivors of the Holocaust committed in Europe sixty five years ago.

A survey conducted last year for the Friederich Ebert Foundation, a German think tank linked to Germany's Social Democratic Party, was eloquent. To the question: « Do you think that Jews abuse their status as victims of Nazism ? » , positive responses reached proportions hardly imaginable: 72.2% in Poland, 48% in Germany, 40.2% in Italy, 32.3% in France. Another question, Do you understand why people do not like Jews », generated results that must be faced. Number of positive responses: 55.2% in Poland, 48.9% in Germany, 40.2% in Italy. The question was not asked in France. In several polls conducted in Europe over the last decade, Israel was identified as the most dangerous country for world peace, tied with Iran.
The question:  Are you anti-Semitic was not asked anywhere. I have no doubt that, if asked the question, those who understand that people do not like Jews,  and who probably do not like them either, would have said that they were not anti-Semitic.

The question,  Do you think that Israel is conducting a war of extermination against the Palestinians », was asked. Positive responses : 63% in Poland, 47.7% in Germany.

Moshe Kantor, president of the European Jewish Congress, called the poll « very disturbing. The governments of Europe, and the European Union," he said, "would do well to wake up to this problem before it is too late.

Competing visions of ‘Never Again’

Our World: Competing visions of ‘Never Again’
By CAROLINE B. GLICK, Jerusalem Post  May 3, 2011

Caroline strikes a chord in the usually spot on way, about
what I call "Post Holocaust Syndrome" PHS.
She talks about how Jews fell into 2 camps about how to deal with post WW2.

PHS dictates silently and loudly much of Israel's policy
when it comes to how she treats the worlds opinions and
pressures. PHS is in the background of my life whether I see it or realize it daily.
PHS is the inescapable possibility that still seems impossible.

Everything that is done, planed, evaluated etc...always comes down to that
old saying "Is it good for the Jews?". Or what will the Gentiles think or how will they react?

This is done on an individual, community, or State of Israel basis. Every day.
Never again is with us ....always and as Matisyahu said:

"They come overseas, yes they're trying to be free
Erase the demons out of our memory
Change your name and your identity
Afraid of the truth and our dark history
Why is everybody always chasing we
Cut off the roots of your family tree
Don't you know that's not the way to be"

He is right. Kahane was right. Never Again is right. As long as the Jew hides or runs or allows people to treat them badly because they are Jewish.....it could or will happen again!

The Country of Israel....why do we not refer to Israel as a Country? Is it not?

PHS dominates our lives silently...to even those that have run away or tried to turn their back on their heritage.

Bibi is not strong enough to  stand up to Labor...much less Wash. DC.
Faith based leadership is crucial. Feiglin seems like the guy!
His vision is less restrictive then mine...but then again
he lives in Eretz Yisrael and I in the Galut!

Meir Kahane was the single most important influence on the Jewish people.
His influence on the USSR to let our people go has never been treated with the
historical notation it deserves!

Kahane Tzadak!

Shalom

The Holocaust Yet to Come - Moshe Feiglin

This article is not about the Holocaust that happened. It is about the Holocaust that is liable to come knocking on our door. If you are weak of heart, stop reading now. But if you are staying with me, please take a deep breath, forget about secondary political issues and internalize what I am writing. The trains to Auschwitz did not have separate cars for Right and Left, Haredi and secular.

It is popular to pontificate on the lesson of the Holocaust. Every person takes the Holocaust to the place that is comfortable for him. I would like to discuss a very basic lesson that I have never seen disproved: The Western world will not try too hard to close down the gas chambers. Not only that. It will even indirectly stoke them.

True, after the Holocaust, in a rare moment of good will, the world voted to partition the Land of Israel and to recognize the fledgling Jewish state. But this recognition had no practical implications. Seven Arab armies invaded the tiny area allocated to Israel. The world did not lift a finger. The Egyptian army got to within thirty kilometers of Tel Aviv, murdering and destroying every person and settlement in its path. They cut through the Negev and reached Beit Lechem. The Jordanians were just twenty minutes away from Israel's coast. The Syrians captured Mishmar Hayarden – and destroyed it, of course.

Three years after the Holocaust, the Western world waited once again for the Arabs to finish off the dirty work. It did nothing to help Israel. But then, with G-d's loving grace, the situation turned around. The nascent IDF stopped the Arab armies. On the southern front, Yigal Alon commanded over some brilliant maneuvers that more or less eliminated the Egyptian army. The IDF forces got all the way to El Arish inside Egypt.

When that happened, Britain threatened that if the IDF would not retreat, it would invade Israel. America pressured, Ben Gurion gave in and the new norm was set: When the Jews are in danger, the world waits patiently. When they start to win, the world stops them.

The Western world – upon all its beauty and advantages – will always act as a static anvil for the murderous hammer descending upon the Jews from above – be it the Nazi hammer, the Arab hammer or any other murderous, anti Jewish hammer.

The time when we will have to decide if we are willing to entrust our fate to the very same West that will always be happy to be rid of the "Israel Problem" is rapidly approaching. We see ourselves as an inseparable part of the Western world. It is difficult for us to accept that the West, our cultural patron, will simply close its eyes with relief when six million Jews in Israel will once again be facing wholesale slaughter.
But that is precisely the direction that events are taking. The only difference between 1948 and today is that then we were a rabbit that thought it was a lion and today we are a lion that thinks it is a rabbit. In 1948, our physical weakness invited invasion. Today, our mental weakness invites invasion.

What invasion am I talking about? If we were not living in denial, the media would be abuzz about Samantha Power, head of the National Security Council, who advocates taking the funds that the US now invests in the IDF and investing them instead in the 'Palestinian' army. In no uncertain terms, she discusses a possible US invasion of Israel – to keep the peace, of course. When that goal is accomplished, Power advocates leaving us here to enjoy the loving kindness of the righteous souls in Ramallah.

As surrealistic as all of this sounds now, it is most important to remember that only terror organizations and Arab states used to deny Israel's right to exist. Now this concept is coffee table talk throughout Europe. The denial of the right to exist always precedes physical annihilation. That is another important lesson of the Holocaust.

Tony Blair, the European Union's envoy to the Mid-East, recently said that Europe would accept the Hamas as a negotiating partner, refusing to make that contingent on Hamas recognition of Israel's right to exist. When officials of the stature of Power and Blair make these statements, they are charting the course for Western policy.

After the UN will recognize a Palestinian state at the 1967 borders, the Arabs will demand an Israeli retreat. To make sure we know they mean business, they will punctuate their demands with missiles on Israel's cities. Israel will be forced to respond and the international coalition will rev up its motors to come save the peace.

All signs point to the fact that Israel is currently building the foundations for a Palestinian state and is planning an instant, southern-Lebanon-style retreat from Judea and Samaria. Something like, 'Get on the buses now and we'll explain later.'

But the Arabs don't really want a state. All that they want is to end Jewish sovereignty in Israel. Their demands will intensify after Israel's retreat from Judea and Samaria as per the Gush Katif aftermath model. They will demand the Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, right of return for their 'refugees', compensation payments, an international peace keeping force and what not. In the meantime, they will continue to bombard us with missiles. Israel's military response will serve the West with its excuse to intervene. At this point, an exhausted Israel will have to decide: Either open the Ashdod port to the US Navy forces or fight against the entire world.

All of Israel's 'enlightened' elites will unequivocally support opening Israel's gates to the
'Peacekeeping' forces. From the President all the way down to the writers in the major newspapers, they will have no other solution. "And what is better?" they will ask. "Living in the shadow of the West, or fighting a war being forced upon us by Jewish fundamentalists?" The patriotic declarations being sounded today in the Likud will turn into 'pragmatic' rhetoric. The West is the very air that we breathe and the lesson of the Holocaust will be ignored.

The last thing that the policy-makers are capable of thinking is that we are a nation in our own merit, a nation that relies on its own ethical code. They will never come to terms with the fact that we are not Western or Eastern; we are simply Jews who, as opposed to 1948 – are not weak at all. We are a formidable economic and military power and are capable of extracting a terrible price from any country in the world that will threaten our sovereignty.

We will never even think that the entire problem does not exist in reality, but only in our minds. In other words, our psychological dependency on the West actually invites this scenario. No Western country would challenge our sovereignty if it had the slightest fear of an Israeli response. We are a lion that thinks it is a rabbit. But knowing this country, I do not expect that we will respond to threats on our sovereignty in the manner that any normal nation would respond. Instead, Israel will open its gates to the 'Peacekeeping' forces. The IDF will be disbanded and the rest of the story has already been experienced by the Jewish People throughout its long and painful history.

As a believing Jew, I pray that our Father in heaven will perform a miracle and that one year from now, you will be able to take this article and laugh at me. I am a great believer in the Nation of Israel and anticipate that unexpected energies will emerge in the nick of time to prevent this scenario.

As Independence Day approaches, we must say loudly and clearly: There is life after America. The struggle is not for the settlements. The danger is much more existential and all-inclusive. It is not military danger. It is not economic danger. The danger is our total collapse in a process that is all-too reminiscent of the fall of Czechoslovakia. The moment that a state entrusts its existence to other states that have other interests, its existence becomes transient.

It is urgent to cut the psychological ropes binding us to the West. We are not Americans. We are Israelis and we have an independent and strong faith and culture from which we draw our own existential legitimacy – not from the West.

There is life after America. Put it on stickers. Blog it. Write it on your social media. Broadcast it at rallies and wherever you can. We do not need American aid. All that we need is to return to our tried and true Jewish identity.

Mr. Popularity at Israel's Ghost Dance....- Barry Chamish

MR. POPULARITY AT ISRAEL'S GHOST DANCE
                                                                                   by Barry Chamish

In a ghastly poll of the Israeli people, Haaretz has determined that the winner by several lengths of the most popular politician race is the ever noble king of the ball, Pres. Shimon Peres.

"Out of 16 senior public figures, Peres was by far the favorite politician in a poll conducted for Ha'aretz by Dialog. Support for Peres came from all groups: religious and non-religious, ultra-Orthodox and immigrants from the former Soviet Union," according to a new Haaretz poll.
< http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/israel-s-eldest-statesmen-p eres-is-also-its-most-popular-1.357114>

Has all my work been for nothing? Have I wasted my life? No, no it can't be that. It's so much simpler. Israelis are self-destructive idiots lacking even a teensy drop of rationality. Yes, that must be the explanation.
So far, only one other writer shares my wonder, David Isaac. But he is stuck in the Peres brought us Oslo mode and misses the full picture:

"There are more out than in." That was the favorite remark of this
writer's high school Latin teacher. What he meant was that there are
more crazies outside the asylum than inside. He was proven correct
once again with the results of a recent Ha'aretz poll that showed
that Israel's President Shimon Peres is the country's most popular
public figure.Shimon Peres is the chief architect of the Oslo Accords, the plan
which ceded large tracts of Israeli territory to Yasser Arafat, "the
father of modern terror." The ensuing chaos, easily predictable to
those who don't belong in a mental institution, resulted in the
murder of thousands of Israelis and the reinvigoration of Israel's
enemies who were inspired once more with hope that Israel could
indeed be destroyed.

To fill the gap, I have compiled a short list of Peres' crass criminality to prove Israelis are nuts. Before arriving at mass murderer of his people, we'll start easy; Peres is a paid agent of the Vatican. As we all know, Peres was initially left out of the Oslo negotiations. When he discovered this great new diplomacy, he wanted in. So, as Foreign Minister, he sent the pope a proposal for the Vatican to take over stewardship of East Jerusalem and agreeing to a PLO capital within its entity. This highly proven fact is not understood by any Israeli. The
closest to getting it is Jacob Gurewich in his book, The Enemy Within.
Gurewich spends a good chunk of the book exposing the Vatican's deadly interference in Jewish survival, and in doing so has provided enough evidence to stop the inevitable canonization of pope John Paul II. However, the conclusion on Peres' role in the Vatican's relentless attack on Jews and Israel is weak: "No wonder that a villain such as Shimon Peres...handed over to Pope John Paul II on a silver platter the evil idea to internationalize Jerusalem."
Bad news Jacob. There is much more. Peres spent his career offering Jerusalem to anyone who would take it.

Peres Raises 'World Capital' Solution for Jerusalem
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Shimon Peres, the head of Israel's opposition Labor Party, has suggested resolving Israeli-Palestinian conflict over Jerusalem by putting its holy sites under U.N. stewardship, a spokesman said Tuesday.
His plan calls for declaring a holy area of sites sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims in Jerusalem's old walled city as a "world capital," with the U.N. Secretary-General serving as mayor.

We'll return to Jacob Gurewich shortly, but first let's chronicle Peres' insanity from my files. Write me if you want any of the full articles, or better, get my books. Let's begin with what Peres will do to gain power, like setting off criminal scandals to get presidents Weizman and Katsav out of the office he so revered. In Peres world that's all in a day's work. But did you know he bribed the Nobel Committee to get his prize?

Last week, Yoav Yitzhak, in the wide circulation newspaper Maariv, revealed that Peres gave Terje Larsen, the UN Middle East representative, $100,000 to secure him a Nobel Prize.
This week, David Bedein, writing in Makor Rishon, applied the coup de grace. He interviewed a member of the Nobel Prize Committee, Kaare Kristiansen, who not just confirmed the bribe but described Larsen's pressure on the committee in full detail.

And how many Israelis know that in 1984 Prime Minister Peres read the info provided by spy Jonathan Pollard with his morning coffee? He turned a one-time American arms for hostages operation into a mafia industry that came within a hair's breadth of bringing down the Republican administration. Forget what he did to Pollard, he cost us American conservative sympathy. The result was Bush number one forcing Rabin into Oslo in 1993. But once Oslo got the PLO moving back to Israel, Peres made sure they were able to kill the maximum number of Jews, ideally settlers:

We jump ahead to Barak's regime and a ridiculously underlooked item which appeared throughout the Israeli media. Barak's Regional Affairs Minister Shimon Peres and the CIA's resident spy, George Tenet had come to a little agreement: Peres assented to the PLO sending 40 "policemen" for an advanced CIA marksmanship course in Virginia.

We turn now to the juicy topic of PERES - SERIAL MURDERER. I filtered my files to bring you barely a few of his celebrated political murders. There are many more.
In 1995, Shimon Peres oversaw the Rabin assassination with his chosen bodyguard, Yoram Rubin, pulling trigger.
In 2005, Prime Minister Sharon shared tea with Peres in the Knesset. A half hour later he had a stroke and was accompanied to the hospital by Yoram Rubin.
In 2001, Rehavam Zeevi threatened to resign unless Sharon fired Shimon Peres as Foreign Minister and provided real IDF protection for Hebron's Jews. Sharon refused and Zeevi quit. He was gunned down just hours before he was to deliver his Knesset speech exposing Peres before resigning from the government.
Then on Friday, December 18, 2002; Wayne Owens, 65, a Utah Democrat who had represented Salt Lake City in the House of Representatives for eight years and who was a founder of Washington's Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation, was found dead on a beach in Tel Aviv. The reason for his trip was to put an end to the corruption of the Peres Peace Center. His last meeting was with Peres' envoy, Avi Gil.

In 2005, the chief Sephardic rabbi, Shlomo Amar, announced that he would declare the upcoming evacuation of Gaza's Jews as a sin, thereby turning half the country into opponents of the plan. This Shimon would not allow so, enthusiastically and personally, he led the vicious mugging of the Amar family:

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3087363,00.html

Mrs. Amar told investigators that she had been in the kitchen of her apartment at the time the alleged events took place. She said she only heard what happened the next day from another daughter, who in turn had been told by Ayala.
Mrs. Amar said she failed to tell her husband what happened because she did not want to get him involved. But it would appear she did know about the incident.
Despite her claim to investigators to have only had passing contact with Meir, her son visited her a second time just two days later together with Labor Party leader Shimon Peres.
According to Ayala, her brother threatened her with a knife, saying he could kill her "with one stab."

In 1952, Israel's prime minister Moshe Sharett said of Peres, "I utterly reject Peres and see his ascendance as the most malignant form of political corruption. It will be a cause of national mourning if Peres becomes a minister of government for Israel." It is commonly understood that the statement was made because Sharett viewed Peres' operation against the Sephardim with utter disgust.
You have to wonder how many Rabin mourners voted Peres their fabulous favorite as most popular politician. Or how many Sephardic Jews voted for him. Or how he gets away with even his most blatant felonies. And the next section must be MASS MURDERER because in the fifties, Atomic Energy Commission czar Peres brought in American army x-ray machines and blasted every Sephardic child with hundreds of times the legal limit of gamma rays through their brains. If you voted Peres Mr. Popularity, I'd go on You Tube and look up the documentary, The Ringworm Children, for confirmation. But it's too late, your vote will still count. Nonetheless, you'll finally figure out that your winning candidate for popularity was the leader of a horrid experiment which led to 6000 dead in two years. If you count the 4500 mostly Yemenite children kidnapped by the government, Peres murdered over 10,000 "inferior" Jews and crippled another 100,000 for life.
And the newly popular Peres wants to get back to his old atomic days but this time to shut down the nuclear nightmare he created. Jacob Gurewich tells us that:

Peres revealed a hidden secret to Clinton. "It's no secret that Ben-Gurion handed me the post to establish the Israel Atomic Energy Commission and to found the Center For Nuclear Research at Dimona. My aim is to control the IAEC again.

At least and at last, Pres. Peres has found popularity, his fondest dream. His fingers won't sully the atomic trigger ever again.

end
